Mission statement
MCI aims at sustaining watershed ecosystem health and livelihoods of local people and communities in riverine ecosystems through a holistic and participatory approach. Our interests are local watershed ecosystem management, impacts of hydropower dams and development projects along the Mekong River, equitable water governance, as well as the adaptation of local communities to climate change.
