Project aims

Yayasan Aksi Konservasi Celebica and Yayasan Herpetofauna Indonesia are collaborating to strengthen conservation efforts for the Critically Endangered Bancet Tompotika (Occidozyga tompotika), a frog found only on Mount Tompotika in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. Threatened by expanding mining activities, the species urgently needs effective conservation breeding and care protocols. Through exchange visits, hands-on training and technical support, the partnership aims to build Celebica's capacity to rescue and care for threatened individuals, establish a reserve population and develop species-specific care practices to support long-term conservation.
