Mission statement

Berang-Berang Indonesia is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting otters and their freshwater habitats through research, education, and community involvement.

Our mission is to ensure the long-term survival of otters in Indonesia while promoting the conservation of other freshwater species including native fish, amphibians, and reptiles that share and support the same ecosystems.

We work to build public awareness, inspire conservation action, and encourage sustainable, science-based solutions to protect aquatic biodiversity for future generations.
