Yayasan Ulin Nusantara
Mission statement
Yayasan Ulin is dedicated to conserving Indonesia’s biodiversity, focusing on the Mesangat Wetland and its key species: the Siamese crocodile (Crocodylus siamensis), false gharial (Tomistoma schlegelii), and Storm’s stork (Ciconia stormi). We aim to protect and restore critical habitats, promote sustainable livelihoods, and empower local communities through education and capacity-building. By advancing scientific research, such as bioacoustics and ecological monitoring, we support data-driven conservation efforts. Advocating for policies that harmonize development with ecosystem preservation, we envision a future where biodiversity flourishes, and communities thrive in harmony with nature. Together, we work toward sustainable environmental stewardship and resilience.
