Mission statement
Htaman Conservation Association (HCA) is committed to conserving biodiversity and natural resources through scientific research, community-led conservation, and sustainable land management. We support community-managed forests, habitat restoration, and sustainable fisheries, while empowering local communities through conservation-based livelihoods and eco-tourism. HCA promotes environmental awareness, collaborates with key stakeholders, and develops sustainable land-use plans to ensure long-term ecosystem resilience. By fostering stakeholder engagement and strategic partnerships, we strive to create a future where people and nature thrive together in Htamanthi Landscape, Northern Myanmar.
