Project aims

  • One of the drivers of hunting and killing Visayan Warty Pigs is in response to crop foraging

  • Little is known about the frequency or severity of this crop foraging and its impact on local livelihoods

  • The project will investigate the prevalence of crop foraging by Visayan Warty Pigs through interviews with local farmers, combined with six-months of monitoring of crop fields
