Project aims

The Lake Tondano Halfbeak was only discovered to science in 1995, and is endemic to Lake Tondano, the largest lake in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. This grant supports the partnership between Kinatouan Foundation and Celebica to expand their work in Sulawesi to include the Lake Tondano Halfbeak, exchanging knowledge and strengthening expertise in freshwater fish conservation and community engagement.
