Mission statement

Endemic Indonesia Society (EIS) was born from the shared concern of a group of biology graduates who realized that education and research must go hand in hand to restore balance between people and nature. At EIS, we believe that conservation means more than protection. Conservation is about giving meaning to nature and ensuring its survival through understanding, awareness, and collaboration. Our mission is to “to conserve Indonesia’s biodiversity through research, education, and community empowerment.”
