Your opportunity

We are seeking a talented storyteller for our newly created Content & Communications Coordinator position. You will play a key role in ASAP’s communications and fundraising objectives, working closely with the ASAP team to plan and execute written content for campaigns, newsletters, donor communications and programme materials.  

Your key responsibilities

  • Create compelling content that brings ASAP’s programmes to life, including campaigns, newsletters, donor communications, reports, and programme collateral.  

  • Adapt and maintain organisational voice, ensuring all written content is engaging, accurate, brand-aligned, and tailored to diverse audiences.  

  • Collaborate with internal teams and beneficiaries to source stories, programme updates, and content that enrich communications and support organisational objectives.  

  • Support brand consistency, contributing to style guides, templates, and frameworks, and ensuring all content meets ASAP’s brand standards.  

  • Edit, proofread, and optimise content across digital and print channels, ensuring integration into campaigns, newsletters, websites, and donor-facing communications.

Qualifications and experience

  • Qualifications in communications or marketing, science communication, conservation or an associated field. 

  • 3+ years of experience in storytelling, copywriting, marketing and communications or content creation. 

  • Experience in interviewing to capture human interest stories and create compelling content. 

  • Capabilities in attention to detail, organisation, copywriting, teamwork and analytics. 

  • Ability to work in MS Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint). Experience in content development apps such as Canva and Capcut would be desirable.  

  • Experience working for non-profits, especially national or local conservation organisations across Southeast Asia (preferred). 

  • Written and verbal fluency in English essential, and a second Southeast Asian language desirable.
