Determine if Mesilau Stream Toad is extinct or still present at historical sitesat Mesilau on Mount Kinabalu and Mount Trusmadi, Sabah
Assess the population and present distribution of Mesilau Stream Toad if itcontinues to survive on Mount Kinabalu and/or Mount Trusmadi, Sabah
Results
Confirmed that Mesilau Stream Toad is not extinct and continues to survive at Mesilau on Mount Kinabalu.
Also confirmed the presence of the species at Mount Trusmadi, Sabah.
Recorded the presence of tadpoles in the Mesilau East River and Tibabar Stream which indicates that breeding is taking place.
