Project aims

  • Conduct regular ranger patrols to address key threats of hunting and snaring.

  • Manage the ex situ population to keep individuals healthy and thriving.

  • Manage release and pre-release monitoring of reintroduced deer.

  • Carry out camera-trap surveys outside protected areas to assess species use of surrounding habitats.
